Born and raised on the Big Island of Hawaiʻi, my love for nature and thoughtful details eventually led me to the Columbia River Gorge.

Why the George
Just an hour east of Portland, the Columbia River Gorge stretches about 80 miles along the river. In that short distance you'll find waterfalls, old forests, vineyards and orchards, and wide open views of the water and Mount Hood. Few places offer this many settings for a celebration in one region.
The scenery is only part of it. People arrive here and naturally slow down. Conversations last a little longer, and guests feel like they've gotten away, even when home is close by.
The celebrating doesn't stop when the weather turns. In the cooler months, we host events in beautiful indoor venues with sweeping views of the Gorge, so your guests stay warm while the scenery still steals the show. Snow on the hills or fog on the river can make a winter gathering just as memorable as one in summer.
